A Douglas woman has launched an online fundraising appeal to try to meet her dog's huge vet bill.
Alison Dawson's pooch Poppy ruptured a ligament in her leg which needs treatment, but her insurance will only cover half of the £4,000 needed.
The single mum-of-two is hoping kind-hearted people will help her pay for badly-needed surgery.
