Hundreds of pounds worth of damage has been caused to a small children’s play area in Onchan.
Sometime between 5pm on February 9th and 8am the following day significant damage was caused to one of the larger pieces of equipment in the park.
The police say it appears someone purposely jumped on a walkway causing it to break.
It marks the second incident of malicious damage to park equipment in the last six months and is estimated to cost Onchan Commissioners £800 to put right.
Anyone with information, or who knows who is responsible, is asked to contact Lord Street Police Station.
