Police are appealing for witnesses after vandals have targeted a Manx National Heritage site.
Overnight last Monday damage was caused to the Laxey Wheel site.
Numerous gates were kicked from the hinges and oil service caps snapped from the metal chains securing them in place.
Officers say it's disappoiting to see people vandalising the tourist attraction.
Anybody with information is asked to contact the police.
