Police have issued a warning following reports of a vandalism at Bradda Head.
Officers say the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture has raised concerns after two entrance gates to the old mine workings have been damaged.
The constabulary says DEFA takes these measures to coron off such areas because there could be danger to life or limb for those who go into such areas without the right equipment and knowledge.
Authorities are also warning it's an offence to trespass and are asking people to stay away.
