Increased solar activity means the possibility of spotting the phenomenon in the skies to the north from about 9pm.
However, skies will need to be clear in order to spot the northern lights.
Ronaldsway Met Office says tonight looks to be mostly overcast, with some rain - but with a possibility of some breaks in the cloud cover.
