Vaccination clinics are being held across the Island next weekend for 12-15 year-olds to receive the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
Clinics will be open on Saturday October 9 at the Chester Street hub from 9:30am-12pm and QEII High School from 2-4:30pm, and Sunday October 10 at Castle Rushen High School from 9:30am-12pm and Ramsey Cottage Hospital from 2-4:30pm.
Anybody wanting to attend must be registered with 111 and have received a scheduled appointment time, and parents are asked to attend in order to give their consent unless the child can clearly give an understanding of the treatment themselves.
The government is offering the vaccine to young people in hopes that it will prevent transmission of the virus and therefore won't disrupt their learning.
