A ‘significant amount’ of used cooking oil has been dumped in residential bins in Castletown.
Commissioners say it appears a commercial user put them into bins on Shore Road overnight.
Had this been compacted in the bin van, it’s likely overspill would have ended up in the streets.
Anyone that can help Commissioners get in touch with the original owner of the oil is asked to get in touch.
