The government's issued an urgent warning about the high risk of wildfires in the Manx countryside.
In a social media post, the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says upland and lowland habitats are currently tinder dry after a spell of dry weather.
That means a very high wildfire risk - and with little rain forecast for the next week, the department says the risk is now serious.
It's urging people not to light barbecues, camp fires or stoves, adding if you see smoke or fire in the countryside, you should immediately move to safety and call 999.
