Urgent Tynwald question about TT virus protections for livestock

What will the government do to prevent an infectious livestock virus reaching the Isle of Man during TT?

That's what Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will raise as an urgent question in Tynwald tomorrow.

He'll quiz Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber about precautions against bluetongue after the UK extended a restriction area to Heysham at the weekend.

Bluetongue affects sheep, goats and cows and is transmitted through insect bites.
