An MHK has tabled an urgent question for Tynwald following the announcement DOI tenants will no longer be able to pay their rent at post offices.
The change is due to come into force from April 1.
Now, MHK for Arbory, Castletown and Malew Jason Moorhouse will quiz the DOI Minister on the change.
He'll ask how many tenants of properties owned by his Department have been advised of the change, why the option has been withdrawn; and what arrangements are in place for tenants who do not have bank accounts.
Today's Tynwald sitting is due to get underway from 10.30am.
