Urgent appeal for marshals for afternoon practices

An urgent appeal has been launched to find marshals for the afternoon Festival of Motorcycling practices tomorrow and Friday.

The Isle of Man TT Marshals Association is looking for personnel to cover the qualifying schedules between 12.30pm and 4.30pm on each day.

The extra Thursday session was announced yesterday following a series of cancellations since Saturday due to poor weather whilst the Sunday contingency was called off because of a lack of staff to cover the course on that day.

Officials have taken to social media asking anyone who can take part to call the association as soon as possible.
