Unite says the Island must fight to save jobs and flight routes after Flybe announced it would be closing its base here.
The union says it will continue to put pressure on the airline and the Manx government to ensure transport links are maintained.
Last week representatives attended a meeting with Flybe bosses and the 50 staff set to be affected by the closure.
Unite says there needs to be serious reassurances that the community will not suffer as a result of the decision.
