Union demands immediate 4% pay

Prospect Trade Union is calling for an immediate payment of 4% for Public Sector Workers.

Employees agreed to a revised two year pay offer of 4%, effective 2024/2025 from the Public Services Commission. 

Prospect Negotiations Officer Mick Hewer says he can see no legitimate reason for them not to pay the 4% immediately and the associated back pay to April 2024.

He adds Manx Care have just paid the 4% for 2024/2025, whilst negotiations are continuing and that withholding payment simply punishes and causes detriment to workers.
