A researcher at a Welsh university is looking for people who know about herring fishing in the Irish Sea.
Georgina Jain of Bangor University is working on a project looking at the history of fishing for herring, and says she'd like to hear from local experts.
She'll be on the Isle of Man for a week from Monday, November 17.
Anyone with knowledge or memories of the herring fishery can message her on Facebook here.
