The Beach Buddies has achieved its 'greatest landmark' with a visit from UNESCO representatives.
The global head of the UNESCO biosphere programme visited the Island this week to officially welcome the Isle of Man to the scheme.
The group also made time to speak to local businesses and charities to support them in their work in making the Island part of UNESCO.
Beach Buddies founder Bill Dale says UNESCO wants to build a long term relationship with the group - to learn what they do and expand the idea to more places:
