United Nations Day was marked yesterday by exploring the Island's opportunity to win global recognition as a world biosphere reserve.
Former UNESCO advisor Professor Peter Bridgewater held a presentation at the Manx Museum to explain how the Island can present its bid.
He gave an insider's view of the organisation in conjunction with the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
