The government says unemployment fell slightly last month but was still higher than last year.
In its latest figures, the Cabinet Office says 273 were out of work at the end of September - four less than August.
It means the Island's unemployment rate stands at 0.6 per cent.
The Jobcentre reported it had 247 full-time vacancies and 192 part-time.
