Unemployment on the Island fell to just 0.7 per cent last month.
New figures from the government show only 314 people were out of work at the end of April - 227 men and 87 women.
Retail workers were hardest hit, with 25 people looking for work in the sector.
But the retail industry also had 88 jobs unfilled at the end of the month, making up around 10 per cent of the 885 vacancies at the jobcentre.
