Unanimous support for bid for Ramsey Courthouse

We have to keep Ramsey Courthouse in the hands of the public. 

That's the message from the town's commissioners who last night supported plans to bid for the iconic building. 

Its future is in doubt after the Department of Home Affairs put it up for sale on the open market. 

The decision has angered ratepayers and taxpayers alike - commissioner Eric Corkish says the decision to put it in private hands doesn't make sense:
