UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer says his country will follow in the footsteps of the Isle of Man and lower its voting age.
Under plans announced today, 16 and 17 year olds will be able to vote in the next general election.
The Isle of Man changed the law in 2006 to lower the age to vote from 18 to 16.
The UK's next election will be held no later than August 2029.
