An initiative to protect wild areas of land - which Manx Wildlife Trust (MWT) will take part in - has been backed by UK stars.
Sir David Attenborough, Stephen Fry and Alison Steadman - starring in the upcoming new 'Wind in the Willows' film - are among those supporting the 'Wilder Future' campaign.
MWT is launching its initiative for it on Island this Saturday, which focuses on the decline of wild areas and to build public support for a healthy, natural Manx environment.
The organisation will kick off the campaign on March 30 at the Courthouse in Ramsey, with Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney to be in attendance.
