A UK team which is reviewing the health service will visit the Island three times a year for the next three years.
Officials from the West Midlands Quality Review Service have been contracted to carry out the independent external inspection.
It will begin in November and follows months of heavy criticism over concerns about safety at Noble’s Hospital.
The review will flag up any areas of concern where there is an unacceptable risk to patient safety.
Director Jane Emison is leading the project - she says it will be extensive:
Society appeals for help about traditional gypsy caravans on the Island
