The UK’s Minister of State for Justice says he will support the Island’s bid to gain a better understanding from MPs and civil servants.
Lord McNally has written to the Chief Minister Allan Bell in an effort to further strengthen relations.
The Ministry of Justice manages the UK’s constitutional relationship with the crown dependencies.
It says it understands there may be times when the Isle of Man wants its voice heard separately.
