The price of sending a letter to the UK is on the rise, as of next week.
From Monday, the cost of a standard local and UK letter will go up by 5p - from 52p to 57p.
It comes as a 5 per cent rise has also been announced on Special Delivery express services.
Chair of the Island's Post Office Julie Edge says the postal service 'regrets any price rises for customers', but due to the steep decline people sending letters, increases are 'inevitable'.
