The UK's Crown Estate has launched an accelerated tendering round for an offshore windfarm around 20 miles off the Island's East coast.
The Morgan offshore windfarm went back out to tender this week after its previous developer pulled out.
When completed, the project is expected to produce around 1.5 gigawatts of power.
That's enough to power around 1.5 million homes.
