The House of Lords has heard worries about assisted dying legislation in the UK - and whether medical staff there would break the law when Manx patients are treated across.
During a debate into the UK's proposed laws on Friday, Baroness Finlay of Llandaff said health professionals who arranged transfers to the Isle of Man could break the law there if they knew the transfer would facilitate an assisted death.
However, Baroness Grey-Thompson said the Isle of Man has a five-year residency requirement under our assisted dying laws.
The British Medical Association has asked for the UK's proposals to be amended to clear up the legislation.
