The Southern Swimming Pool says more than doubling rates contributions will be a vital step to saving the facility.
Last week, Tynwald voted to revise the Southern Swimming Pool Order, raising maximum rates from 2.5p to 6p.
The pool says if local authorities agree, each person in the South will now pay £5.77 a year towards its upkeep compared to £2.41 at the moment.
It adds it'll now try to make efficiency as well as press the government for more money.
