The Island's National day takes place this week, with traditional celebrations in St John's.
Tynwald Day takes place on Wednesday, with the outdoor parliamentary celebration at Tynwald Hill.
President of Tynwald Steve Rodan says he hopes as many people as possible will spend the Bank Holiday marking the occasion.
