Tynwald to further discuss emergency powers

Tynwald is set to convene again later today.

The continuation of parts of the Emergency Powers Act are once again set to be discussed in the wake of new measures introduced to tackle the Coronavirus outbreak.

Meanwhile, a special written question has been put forward by Onchan MHK, Rob Callister, asking the Chief Minister who the members of the National Strategy Group, Gold Team and Silver Team are and what plan is in place if any of those people contract COVID-19.

Ministers will also be given the chance to make key statements at the sitting which gets underway in Douglas from 2.30pm.
