Could the Isle of Man still land a windfall from oil and gas reserves?
When Tynwald sits in December, Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will ask the court to back a new application process for hydrocarbons exploration and production in an area off the Island's coast.
The block was previously licensed to BP in the 1970s and more recently to Crogga.
In his motion, Mr Thomas also says he wants a report into regulations and better seismic data by July 2026.
