Tynwald standing committee to hear evidence from Social Care

A Tynwald committee will find out more about referrals to the children and families division of Social Services.

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee will hear evidence from the chief exeuctive of Social, head of safeguarding and the data protection supervisor.

The sessions will be held next Wednesday in the Legislative Council Chambers in Douglas.

The review committee will comprise of MHK’s Brenda Cannell and Steve Roden and MLC Alan Crowe.

It was one of three standing committees established by Tynwald in 2011.
