Two women are set to be honoured by Tynwald this summer.
During the court's July sitting, the chair of the Tynwald management committee Juan Watterson will ask member to back adding Sophia Morrison and Annie Bridson to the Manx Patriots' Roll of Honour.
Sophia Morrison was a Manx folklore collector and author, while Annie Bridson was an MHK who became the Manx Labour Party's first president.
The Roll of Honour formally recognises people who made an outstanding contribution to Manx life.
