A couple who spent £10,000 proving their neighbour had wrongly claimed part of their land are a step closer to getting the registration system changed.
John Craine and Annie Hommet petitioned Tynwald about the Island's land registration rules after battling through the courts to prove the property was rightfully theirs.
Now, the committee which looked into the case is consulting about proposed changes which would mean anyone registering land would have to tell their neighbours.
The consultation runs until September - you can find out more on the government's website.
