A Lonan woman says she's hoping Tynwald will recognise the importance of protecting historic buildings.
Patricia Newton, a member of the Isle of Man Natural History and Antiquarian Society, gave the Petition for Redress of Grievance to Tynwald last week.
She says there are a lot of historic buildings on the island that need protecting.
Mrs Newton says she hopes people will support her views:
