A drink-driver from Port Erin has been banned from the roads for two years.
John Michael Creer of Sunnydale Avenue appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 55-year -old admitted driving while being over the limit on July 11.
The court heard witnesses called police after seeing Creer driving through the village, and officers found him inside his Subaru after he parked outside his home shortly before 8.30pm.
Breath testing equipment at police headquarters showed he was one and a half times the legal limit.
He was fined £1,200 and ordered to pay £125 costs as well as being handed a two-year driving ban.
