Two yellow weather warnings are currently in place across the Island.
A notice for coastal overtopping and sleet & snow are in force.
Snow & sleet is due to subside around 9am this morning, however coastal topping isn't expected to ease off until at least 4pm.
Forecasters predict strong east to south easterly winds will cause overtopping and debris onto exposed roads.
It's most likely to affect Douglas prom and walkway, Laxey and Ramsey promenade.
