Traffic is now being allowed in both directions at Fishers Hill following roadworks in the area.
However, a temporary 40mph speed limit is in place and no overtaking allowed for the safety of workers in the area and to help the new surface on the A5 between Fishers Hill and Kentraugh Mill Road bed in.
The Department of Infrastructure also announced over the weekend parking suspensions along Colby Road have now been lifted with traffic levels there expected to return to normal with officials thanking residents in the South who've been affected by the works for their patience.
A one-way system on the stretch towards Port Erin had been in place since September 13 with traffic heading in the other direction diverted through Colby which saw large tailbacks at busy times.
