Two local authorities have announced the results of by-elections, after only one candidate came forward.
Douglas Council says only Arwid Hall of Port-e-Chee Avenue stood for election in its Central Ward.
Meanwhile in Jurby, only James Allanson of Rhendhoo Farm put his name forward for a vacancy on the board.
Both have been returned unopposed.
