Two riders were hospitalised in a road traffic collision following the Manx Grand Prix.
A 70-year-old local male rider and a visiting woman riding as a pillion passenger on a vintage Honda Goldwing collided with a van in St Mark's on Saturday.
The LDV van was travelling from the village and the motorbike was heading towards Braaid when it the incident took place at the crossroads.
Investigators closed the road for six hours to piece together what happened.
The female passenger is in a serious condition and has been flown to a UK hospital.
