Two people cut from car following crash

Upon arrival at the scene fire crews began preparation to extract the two from the car, this was done using cutting equipment.

Following the successful extraction they were immediately taken to hospital by ambulance, further details regarding their injuries are not known at this time.

The constabulary requested the use of the fire teams aerial ladder platform to assist in the accident investigation, the road was closed for four hours in total.
