The Department for Enterprise says it's backing two more developments in Douglas under the Island Infrastructure Scheme.
The North Quay and Duke Street projects brings the total number of sites supported to five - which the government says means almost £80 million in private investment.
On North Quay, the proposals include 10 homes and four shops while Duke Street would see 38 apartments, subject to planning approval.
The Island Infrastructure Scheme contributes up to 25 per cent of development costs for brownfield site projects.
