Police have confirmed that a further two men have been arrested following an incident at Laxey Football Club at the weekend.
They’ve been interviewed and released on bail following the altercation on Saturday afternoon during a game between St Johns United and Laxey.
It brings the total number of people arrested in connection with the incident to four.
Police are still appealing for information and want to speak to anyone who saw an ‘on the ball’ incident at the start of the second half in the St Johns goalmouth which led to a player being substituted.
They also want information about a further incident on the pitch after the game finished which involved several players and spectators.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
