The Island will fall silent for two minutes this morning to mark the end of the First World War.
A national silence for Armistice Day will be observed at 11am, with drivers asked to stop and switch off their engines.
Harris Promenade in Douglas will shut from 10.45am to 11.30am for a short ceremony at the War Memorial.
Port St Mary's Remembrance Day Service will be held at the Garden of Remembrance on Bay View Road at 10.50am.
