Two men have been arrested following an altercation at Laxey Football Club on Saturday.
It follows an appeal for witnesses to alleged incidents of assault both during and after the game between Laxey and St Johns United.
Two people sustained facial injuries which were said to be serious but not life threatening.
Police say both men have been released on bail and are helping them with enquiries.
