Firefighters were called to a pub in Douglas town centre yesterday after a blaze broke out in a flat above it.
The fire started in a kitchen above Sam Webbs on Marina Road shortly before 9am.
Fire crews say a pan of oil had caught light after being left unattended.
One of those living in the flat suffered burns to their hands, while another was treated for the effects of smoke inhalation.
