A police officer charged with assault has had a number of charges against her withdrawn.
Charlene Dooley appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
She had faced charges of common assault, assault with actual bodily harm and affray - the offences were alleged to have taken place on Boxing Day of last year.
The 31-year-old Laxey woman will now only face the one charge of common assault.
Ms Dooley is currently suspended from work; the charges were not related to her duties.
She’ll appear again in court on March 18th.
