Douglas lifeboat was launched twice yesterday to assist vessels that had got into difficulty.
At around 18:30 last night a boat suffered engine failure at the north end of Douglas Bay. Once that was towed back the lifeboat headed straight to Groudle where another boat suffered engine failure.
The vessel was towed in to harbour where it was met by Coastguard Officers.
These incidents add to a busy week for Douglas Coastguard who have been called out eight times in the last six days.
