Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says a sharp rise in the number of TT visitors shows the Island is marketing the event successfully.
His department carried out an annual survey of visitors during this year's festival, and released the results this week.
The statistics show the number of people coming to see the action on the Mountain Course rose by more than 6 per cent this year to over 45,000.
