TT star in Twitter war with Piers Morgan

TV presenter Piers Morgan has found himself in a social media spat with a TT star and roadracing fans around the world.

23-time TT winner John McGuinness referred to a woman appearing on Good Morning Britain as a "bird".

In response, Mr Morgan called him a "disgusting misogynist dinosaur".

The comments sparked an avalanche of comments from people backing both Morgan and McGuinness.
