The future of the iconic TT Grandstand scoreboards will be put out for consultation.
The Department for Enterprise says due to the deteriorating condition of the structure on Glencrutchery Road means it needs to be replaced.
The scoreboard became a permanent feature in the late 1980's - and although significant work was carried out on it in 2018 in the hopes of extending its lifespan it needs replacing.
The consultation will run from Friday, December 13 until the end of January next year.
